NTB Climate and Environment Consortium
The NTB Climate and Envinroment Consortium saw a need to create a sustainable project forced on a path towards green housing in the region. The project is named the Alas Strait Climate Alliance (ASCA) comprised of University of Mataram, University Hamzanwadi, NTB Province, Our Ecolution, and PT Eco Solution Lombok.
The consortium currently is working with Perkim and Bappeda on adaptaion of product for local needs to ensure quality affordable housing and buildings to the community.
The goal of this is to have fully sustainable housing for the Province that is able to be replicated around the Nation.
Indonesia's New Capital Plan
The call to action is being found around the world and can be found with the massive undertaking of creating a new capital.
In 2022 Indoensia passed a law to move the Capital from Jakarta to Borneo. The new capital will be a green city that is focused on taking the next steps to a more sustainable society for the country that is currently has one of the highest demands for buildings around the globe.
